Voldemaras Kanchas is President & CEO of International Development Corporation (IDC), a U.S. state of Virginia Corporation.
He is responsible for overseeing IDC's global project development activities ranging from planning, structuring, design, development management, administration and to all aspects of physical implementation of large and medium scale commercially feasible international projects, particularly those dealing with complex technologies and requiring development experience, by attracting financial resources and technologies with advanced solutions from leading United States and European multinational corporations with an ultimate goal of creating shareholders' value and facilitating sustainable economic growth environment for local communities.
V. Kanchas is a seasoned executive with more than 25-year record of success in the international business and project development management. His experience and development portfolio spans from energy, telecommunications, and transportation to complex mixed-use real estate project development and management worldwide.
Since 2014 he has also been the Project Director of the Coral Harbour Development (CHD), a mixed-use large scale Marina -Resort, Phase-1 $US2.2B Project in the New Providence (Nassau), The Bahamas.
In late eighties/early nineties he served as Consul and a member of the Diplomatic Corp and senior executive for international business development of the Malmgren Group in Washington DC, headed by Dr. Harald B. Malmgren, former U.S. Trade Representative and senior official with Presidents Ford, Nixon, Johnson, and Kennedy administrations.
In 1983-1986 under the auspices of UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) he completed theses on "International Cooperation in the Development of New and Renewable Sources of Energy".
